Dieneke Ferguson is living proof that curcumin cures multiple myeloma. Dieneke is from London and she was first diagnosed with the blood cancer multiple myeloma in 2007. Multiple myeloma only has a five year survival rate, on average. The 67 year old spent the next several years undergoing grueling conventional medical treatments, including three rounds of chemotherapy and four stem cell transplants, but the treatments failed. The cancer continued to spread and she was experiencing increasing pain.

What is Multiple Myeloma?

Multiple Myeloma is a type of blood cancer that develops from plasma cell, which are located in the spongy bone marrow inside your bones. The overgrowth of these cancerous plasma cells can crowd out healthy cells in the bone marrow, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.

There are a range of symptoms in multiple myeloma, depending on how the healthy cells in the blood are affected. Anemia occurs if there is a reduction in red blood cells. Increased infections are likely if there is a reduction in white blood cells. And if there is a reduction in platelets, which are responsible for clotting, then there is an increased risk of bleeding.

Other symptoms of multiple myeloma can include bone pain, bone fracture due to weak bones, high calcium in the blood from damaged bones, kidney damage or failure due to high calcium levels, and nerve damage, numbness and pain if the spinal cord is affected.

Curcumin Cancer Miracle

After years of failed treatments, Dieneke was looking for answers. In 2011, she came across an article on the internet about using curcumin for treating cancer. She decided to try it as a last resort. She began taking 8 grams of curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric) per day. The cost of supplementation was 50£ per 10 days, which is approximately $200 per month. Miraculously, her cancer stabilized and she discontinued all conventional treatments. To this day she continues to take curcumin without further treatment and leads a normal life.

Reported in the British Medical Journal

Her doctors were astounded! In 2017, they wrote about her case in the British Medical Journal Case Reports.

“February 2011…her M-protein had risen to 24 g/L… At this point, the patient began a daily regime of oral curcumin complexed with bioperine (to aid absorption), as a single dose of 8 g each evening on an empty stomach. Her paraprotein levels gradually declined to a nadir of 13 g/L, her blood counts steadily improved and there was no evidence of further progressive lytic bone disease. In the absence of further anti-myeloma treatment, the patient plateaued and has remained stable for the last five years with good quality of life.”

“The patient continues to take oral curcumin 8 g daily without further antimyeloma treatment. Over the last 60 months, her myeloma has remained stable with minimal fluctuation in paraprotein level, her blood counts lie within the normal range and she has maintained good quality of life throughout this period.”

“To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report in which curcumin has demonstrated an objective response in progressive disease in the absence of conventional treatment.”

What is Curcumin?

Curcumin is the active ingredient found tumeric, and is also the pigment that gives it its yellow color. Turmeric is a spice widely used as a flavoring in the India and has been used in Eastern medicine for centuries.

Curcumin has potent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. But can curcumin cures multiple myeloma?

Almost 5,000 studies have been dedicated to curcumin’s anti-cancer benefits alone. Curcumin has been found to block the growth of eight types of cancers (under laboratory settings) including breast, lung, blood, stomach, pancreatic, bowel, bone marrow and prostate cancer.

Curcumin may work by stopping nutrients from being transported to tumors, as well as preventing the death of healthy cells by blocking cancer cells from releasing harmful proteins.

Curcumin Cures Multiple Myeloma

As Dieneke Ferguson and her team of doctors can attest, curcumin cures multiple myleoma. Of course, her case isn’t typical and not everyone will experience the same miraculous results. But if even a few people can benefit from this important discovery, then this news is worth sharing!
